nowadays is a period where things that i have never experienced before are happening

it's like being on a path to somewhere wonderful
but thorns grow out of the path
and you start to wonder if it's the right path
people further ahead are telling you
you might step on thorns but don't give up
this is THE path

im currently stuck in the middle
between the thorns
and people who are saying yes
but i shall persist
and continue to tread lightly to avoid the thorns

this is the storm in the middle of the ocean
on the outside, it's ravaging fury
on the inside, it's calm
i choose to be in the eye of the storm
i have chosen
